Today, WIENU joins the world in commemorating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day dedicated to promoting the rights, dignity, and full inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society.

We reaffirm our commitment to building communities where no one is left behind, and where persons with disabilities have equal access to opportunities, services, and meaningful participation in economic and social development.

WIENU recognizes the strength, resilience, and contributions of persons with disabilities especially those in the informal economy and remains dedicated to advocating for inclusive policies, accessible work environments, and supportive systems that empower all individuals.

As we observe this day, WIENU calls upon partners, communities, and stakeholders to work together toward a more inclusive, equitable, and barrier-free society.
